At the Bertalanffy Foundation Building he talked to neuroscientist Peter Jonas, computer scientist Bernd Bickel, and biologists Carl-Philipp Heisenberg, Daria Siekhaus and Nick Barton. There he also met with young scientists such as Aglaja Kopf, Karola Käfer, Ruslan Guseinov, Srdjan Sarikas, and Alvaro Ingles Prieto. “I am really impressed by IST Austria’s development as a role model in science” stated Chancellor Kern before departing from IST Austria.
