About In-Sens

In-Sens is a consortium formed as an International Training Network funded by the European Commission under FP7-People-2013 (607616) to study the genes involved in the DISC1 network and their role in the development of schizophrenia and other psychiatric illnesses ( http://www.in-sens.eu ). The consortium includes partners from 8 European countries comprising academic institutions and industries. The scientific approaches employed by the different research groups include genetics, molecular biology, proteomics, electrophysiology, bioinformatics and translational research. Considering the different backgrounds of the In-Sens research groups a broad range of speakers that work in different fields of psychiatric illness research have been invited to this symposium.
