Active Science – is a tool to assist students in the full development of their creative, intellectual, investigational and human relations potential.

"Active Science" provides an open, free, encouraging environment which allows "mind playing".
Through this mind playing, students experience how to connect the apparently unconnected and to develop the ability to surprise.

Science in education is important only if it allows students to empower themselves.

The main tools for empowerment are to provide an open, free, encouraging environment to permit:

  • Mind playing
  • Connecting the unconnected
  • Developing the ability to surprise

Active Science works through thematic activities which are coherent, relevant, attractive, challenging, and multidisciplinary, implemented in an open, cooperative, and friendly environment. Thematic modules include: Science and Music; The Art of Measurement; The Science of Toys; The Environment and Us; The Sky’s Science; Light, Shadows, Colors, and Photography.

Dr. Kedem will share his experiences creating, implementing, and directing this program.
