Research Interests

Evolutionary genetics and ecology:

I am interested in the evolution and maintenance of biodiversity, and in the structure and dynamics of species' ranges. Earlier, I have contributed to the theory of ecological speciation. Recently, I have been mostly developing theory of adaptation in spatially structured populations. In particular, I have been working on evolution of  species' range in spatially and temporally varying environments and the effects of random genetic drift on local variance and adaptation.
