The Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria) has this year started its campaign "WoMen in Science", highlighting the importance of gender balance in research and innovation. As part of this campaign, we are happy to host a panel event featuring talks, video interviews and panel discussions trying to answer questions like: "Why do we need gender balance?", "How can we reach and maintain it?" and "And what can science institutions do?"

Due to the current regulations, we have a maximum capacity of 100 people onsite. In case you cannot attend, kindly let us know. For all others, online access will be provided to follow the event.
Please bring a FFP2 mask, as well as a certificate of your 2G-status with you (vaccination record / proof of recovery) and arrive a few minutes ahead of time to register.
Changes may be made at short notice due to new COVID pandemic regulations.
IST Austria provides a free shuttle bus 142 for anybody joining the event and traveling from Vienna-Heiligenstadt to the campus (and return) to expand the public bus service. For more information how to come here please have a look at our website.
