French ambassador tours IST Austria

On March 4, 2013, the French ambassador to Austria, Stéphane Gompertz, paid a visit to IST Austria. President Thomas Henzinger gave a presentation outlining the current status and future developments of the research institute. Accompanied by science attaché Jean Luc Stephan, the ambassador toured the campus and met French and Swiss scientists working at IST Austria, including Professor Caroline Uhler, PhD student Damien Zufferey, and postdocs Christine Moussion, Julien Compagnon and Anne Reversat. Before his departure Gompertz expressed his appreciation for the development of IST Austria so far.
