Campus turns into summer camp
IST Austria and PH Niederösterreich organize first science week for children • 24 young scientists do on-campus research August 18-22 • conference and graduation ceremony round off summer camp
“Sommercampus – Kinder entdecken Forschung” is the title and theme of the first science week for children that will turn the IST Austria campus in Klosterneuburg into a summer camp on August 18-22, 2014. 24 talented children at primary school age are encouraged to study natural phenomena or program computers for one week. The young scientists will present the results of their discoveries at a conference by the end of the week. Highlight will be the graduation ceremony on Friday, August 22.
