The Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) and the Institute of Science and Technology Austria are inviting you to the panel of international experts on “Partners in Innovation: Synergies between Industry and Basic Research” . The discussion, scheduled for 4 June at 5:00pm on the IST Austria campus in Klosterneuburg, will be followed by a reception.
The fact that academic and industrial research have developed tools for generating innovation will serve as the starting point of the discussion. But the means with which this is achieved can differ considerably. What can each domain learn from the other in terms of organization, knowledge transfer, and the enabling of serendipity?
